We have tried to cover all aspects we feel important on our web site to try & make your holiday special.

                                                                          Florida's weather:

Florida's weather ranges from very mild to very warm so, you will not require a lot of changes of clothes. There are laundry facilities in all our rental homes & villas. Everything is very casual in Florida & is acceptable in nearly all restaurants and dinner shows, so you will not need any dress clothes.
Shopping is great here so leave space in your case for all the things you will purchase.
We do get small, but sometimes heavy showers in our summer months, so, some people carry rain ponchos, but we find that popping under cover for a short time is enough & the sun is back out again.

                                                                                            Money:

We feel it best to use travelers checks while here as almost all places in Florida consider them as cash, the best denominations being $20. Credit cards are accepted in most places, particularly Visa and Master Card. Generally carry only money you think you will need, leaving the rest at your villa home. We consider Florida to be very safe, however as anywhere in the world there are some obvious no go areas

                                                                                   Golf Courses:

There are hundreds of golf courses to play on here in Florida, a 'Golfers Paradise' to be honest.
Rates per head run from between about $35 to $90 a round depending on the location, standard of play etc., with carts about $35 on average.
So if there is a party of four staying at a villa it could on average run to about $300 for a days golf, that's why we offer our golf package which really does pay to have.

                                                                                     Sun Bathing:

Our Florida sun is very hot, just remember these points:
Burn time can be as short as 7 minutes in August.
Use plenty of sun lotion
Head covering for younger children.
Use waterproof sun lotion for your children at places
like Wet 'n' Wild & the beach.
No topless bathing

                                                                                          Driving:

It is not difficult to drive here, 99.9% of our cars are automatic. Most of our roads large with multiple lanes. The speed limit is generally 55mph with some up to 70mph & should be adhered to as speeding fines are heavy. When you first arrive in the USA this can seem slow, but you are on holiday & it will soon be completely normal. As a rule drivers are very courteous & driving is a pleasure all be it on the right hand side of the road. Drivers must carry their driving license & insurance at all times.

Our petrol is very cheap here especially compared to our regular UK visitors, at present it's only about $2.66 a gallon.

                                                                            Food & Drink:

Large food stores are scattered all over Florida, so your nearest store is going to be only minutes away. It's all reasonably priced with great variety. Although all our villas & homes offer fully equipped kitchens it's cheap to eat out. There are a variety of burger bars, steak & grill houses, plus nearly every other nationalities cuisine you can think of. Don't forget you have to be over 21 to drink alcohol so carry ID if you need to buy any.

                                                               Electrical appliances:

Here in the USA we have a 110 volt electricity system. If you use electric razors, hair dryers, video cameras or other electrical goods from Europe you will need a plug adapter to convert from 240 volts. These are usually obtainable in your departure airport.
